Allow customer to pay by echeck
Allowing a customer to pay by echeck would allow us to avoid costly card costs and would allow us to maintain better records since echecks can be placed on the ledgers immediately.

Program payment
Enable me to go online earlier in the month & CHOOSE the payment to pay on the 1st. I almost forgot to make this month’s payment.

View multiple invoices
Allow me to access all outstandings invoices from the supplier so I can choose which to pay. While I can increase the amount paid for what I know due, there is no way to note to the vendor what I am paying.

Invoice for actual amount due, not a fixed amount that changes once the emailed invoice is selected.
Subject line. Don’t allow businesses the option to invoice for one amount but continue to edit that amount after the invoice is sent (i.e., the amount due changes after clicking on the emailed invoice). Highly unprofessional. Additional charges, if they are not calculated until after invoicing occurs, should be added to a subsequent invoice PRIOR to issuing.

Include a link to a downloadable W-9 for the payee
Let the payee upload a W-9 to Intuit, and allow payors to download it. This will save going back and forth on emails with the payee to obtain this item that is essential for IRS compliance on filing 1099-MISC at year end.

Just email the PDF, before payment.. The extant system is quite convoluted.
I already wrote it above, where you asked what improvements ought to be made. Here's another idea: a brilliant one! Why not reduce complexity system-wide?? Good grief, y'all. People shouldn't have to put up with and wade through all this stinking BS just to see a copy of their invoice. There's so much more to life. Pools to swim, trees to climb, books to read, poetry to write, songs to sing. Go try some of that. That's what I'm going to do , right now. Enough idiotic digital caca!
