Allow for paying a different amount - either more than the invoice or less.
I wanted to pay extra on an invoice, but there is not an option available. Very limiting.

Show the balance that is being carried forward, so the the numbers are correct.

Add ability to pay invoice from my homepage instead of clicking on email link
Maybe this is already there but if it is it's hidden pretty well. I'm the owner/manager of a storage facility, and I tried to locate a way to pay a $20 cancellation fee. The only way I was able to do it was click on a link in the email advising me I have an invoice.

Let me attach a note to the payee.
There was an error on the invoice which didn't affect the price, so I paid it anyway. I would have liked to be able to advise the payee.

Prevent contractor from increasing amount due on a previous invoice.
Once a contractor has sent a dated invoice with a due date for the payment, the contractor should not be able to modify that same invoice later to increase the amount due under that invoice for work that was completed on subsequent dates. The system did not retain the original version of a June invoice after the contractor modified it in October, but left the June invoice date and the due date intact.
