Make the presentation of the invoice and receipt more professional
Make the invoice look more "professional," write Business Name correctly. Us capital letters properly. C. B. Holmes Plumbing, LLC.
Make your "LOGO" look more professional, simplify it.
On the "BILL TO" item, include the customer's name and address.
The "SERVICE and DESCRIPTION area should tell me which address the work was done at. I may have more that one property you work on, remember these become MY tax records.
On the PAYMENT RECEIPT, make it look more professional.
e.g. C.B. HOLMES PLUMBING, LLC, 1083 Cate Rd. Brunswick, GA 31525.

There was no opportunity to add my shipping address.
I'm communicating with the company by email. They don't have my shipping address yet. It wasn't in the invoice, and I had no opportunity I could see to add or change it.

Allow payment for BioOne option
Invoice payment did not allow to increase for the optional Bio One resource.

Show Invoice First
I think the Invoice should be the first document you see, not something you have to look for/click to get. PayPal would be a nice payment option.

List all the documents downloaded for that invoice period to give to clients with our invoice.
A list of all the documents downloaded during the month before the invoice would be nice to have when it comes to submitting my invoice to my clients. Thanks!

The invoice says "you paid..." What will be better received by my budget office would be the name of the institution/business listed
There is no way to confirm that this expense is for a business purpose. A line about the business or institution being billed and what the expense is for is vital to our bookkeeping.

Automatic sequential numbering of Payments
I am doing a QBDT to QBO conversion for the WA State School for the Blind. They have a state requirement that all Invoices' Receive Payments are automatically sequentially numbered, in the same way it’s done for Invoices and Sales Receipts. That doesn’t seem to exist.
There’s no Payment ID, just the Reference ID text field. We have set them up to keep a manual log of the most recent numbers used so they can enter an ID manually, but that doesn’t satisfy the non-changeable automatic requirement.
After a 2-day implementation, they’re now out of compliance and are not sure…

Clicking on question marks creates a text box that obscures the entry box that cannot be cleared.

Copy invoice sales tax
When an invoice is copied, grab the latest sales tax rate for taxable items. Currently QB copies the old sales tax amount so we end up undercharging customers and have to pay the sales tax ourselves. Option 2, Ask "should be recalculate sale tax?" or something like that.
