    I agree that one of the biggest mistakes is treating a strategic business plan as a document you write once and then forget. In my experience, even a well written plan can fail if there are not regular review meetings with clear KPIs and accountability.

    Another point I would add is planning for operational execution. A strategy might look great on paper, but if day to day processes, staffing, or logistics are not aligned, it becomes much harder to achieve the goals you have set. This is especially true for service based businesses where customer experience depends on consistent execution.

    We found that documenting every step of our relocation workflow, from customer booking through packing, transport, and final delivery, made it much easier to improve operations over time.
