   tbh the part about QuickBooks Desktop crashing due to damaged installation files is so real, I spent half my weekend dealing with that exact mess. I ended up using <a href="https://edittextimage.com/change-date-in-image
   ">pic text editor</a> to fix up some receipts for my records when everything else was acting up, it really saved me some time.
