I completely understand your frustration. QuickBooks Desktop had a much more intuitive way of managing invoices, especially for tracking which ones were printed or successfully sent. The lack of a clear queue or warning system in QuickBooks Online definitely makes it harder to stay on top of invoicing and maintain smooth customer communication.
One workaround that might help is setting up custom tags or labels for invoices, so you can manually track their status until QuickBooks improves this feature. We use detailed stickers and labels in our packaging operations (Sticker & Labels https://www.packagingsandiego.com/sticker-labels/) to categorize and streamline our workflow something similar in QuickBooks might at least help organize pending invoices for now. Hopefully, QuickBooks listens to feedback and introduces a more efficient solution soon!
