Enhance Estimates & Deposits Feature for Better Business Workflow
I would like to suggest improvements to the Estimates and Deposits functionality in QuickBooks Online to better support real-world business needs.
For businesses like ours, managing deposits from estimates is an essential part of the sales process. However, the current workflow requires multiple manual steps. It would be extremely helpful if QuickBooks introduced a feature to directly convert estimates into invoices with an option to request or record partial deposits (fixed amount or percentage) in a single step.
In addition, features like automatic balance tracking, clear visibility of deposit vs remaining amount, and seamless linking between estimates and payments would greatly improve efficiency.
We run an online business dealing in surgical instruments, where accurate quoting and partial payments are very common. A smoother system would significantly improve our workflow and customer experience.
