Is stump grinding really necessary after tree removal?
I recently had a tree removed and now I’m deciding whether I should also book stump grinding Melbourne services or just leave the stump for now. Some people told me it can attract pests or become a problem later, while others said it’s not always necessary.
The stump is currently taking up space in the yard and honestly doesn’t look great, but I’m mainly wondering if stump grinding is worth the extra cost long term. I’d eventually like to landscape the area properly, maybe with grass or a small garden.
For people who’ve had stump grinding done before, did it make a noticeable difference? And how long does the process usually take for an average-sized tree stump?
