Is Saudi Arabia Expensive to Visit in 2025? Anyone Been Recently?
Hey travelers,
I’m planning my first Saudi trip this year and have been super curious is Saudi Arabia expensive to visit, really?
I’ve been seeing more posts on Instagram and YouTube about how the Kingdom is opening up for tourism. It looks incredible—Al-Ula, Riyadh, the Red Sea, NEOM, all of it. But I’m on a mid-range budget and trying to plan ahead. I'm not looking for luxury, just something comfortable and culturally immersive.
For those who’ve actually been:
What did you spend daily?
Are hotels super pricey?
Is eating out affordable?
How about transport and tours?
I’ve seen some packages online, especially from https://saudi-trips.com, and they seem reasonable compared to Europe or the UAE. But I’d love some honest insight before I lock anything in.
Would appreciate your thoughts on:
Best time to go for deals
Budget vs. luxury comparison
Hidden costs or surprises
Is it worth visiting now with the rise in Saudi tourism?
If you’ve visited recently or live there, your advice would help tons. Thanks in advance!
