How to Fix the QuickBooks Reboot Loop After Installation
After installing or updating QuickBooks, some users experience an annoying reboot loop where the software repeatedly asks you to restart your computer. Even after rebooting, the message doesn’t go away.
This typically results from a failed update or a corrupted installation. First, use the QuickBooks Tool Hub to run the Install Diagnostic Tool. This resolves most installation-related issues.
If that doesn't help, open Task Manager and end all QuickBooks-related processes. Then, clear out temporary files by running Disk Cleanup, and restart your PC.
You can also manually delete the PendingFileRenameOperations registry entry—but only if you're confident working with the Windows Registry. Back up your system first.
If none of this works, a clean uninstall and reinstall of QuickBooks usually resolves the problem.
