Add a payroll deduction code similar to the 401k code for government employees in a 457 plan where the W-2 Box 12 Code G would be used.
I currently support governmental organizations for the State of Virginia who would like to convert from QB Desktop to QBO but QBO does not offer a pre-tax payroll deduction code for a 457 deferred compensation plan where the W-2 Box 12 Code would be a G. This should be an easy replication of the existing 401k deduction that uses Code D in box 12. See highlighted portion of page 9 of the Attachment. Without this feature, VA governmental agencies are forced to stay on QB Desktop.
