Spend a bit of time investigating computer security and avoidance of viruses and you'll find one of the most common pieces of advice is never to click on a link in an email and especially never to give payment or personal information to a web site linked from an email. You should devise a method of invoicing which does not require me to click on a blind link in an email.

Include PayPal as an option to pay
As others have said why have to input the card number each time in a recurring payment. So arcane.

Allow cutting and pasting of routing number in field, and in confirmation of account number. Its just super annoying, and causes mistakes.

Add an extra step asking people to review the payment before hitting send.

Reserve payment amount to prevent spending it after submitting.
Either process payments immediately, or place a hold on the bank account for the amount of payment. This will help avoid situation where a payment is submitted when funds are available, but funds are spent before payment is processed.

Allow multiple invoices from one vendor to be paid at one time.
The vendor would have a landing page in which you can select which invoices you'd like to pay based on what you owe via your e-mail address.
