Copy and paste my account number into the second account number field
I can copy and paste my account number into the first account number field.
Why not make it possible for me to copy and paste my account number into the second account number field?

This is so basic. I saw a post from 3 years ago. They're obviously not looking at these "ideas". What's the point Intuit??

This is so crazy that you can't copy and paste into all fields. The second one makes you type it, same with the edit amount option. This is such a time waster and there is much more room for error this way. Please fix this. Also allow for us to choose a deposit amount nice and easy in quickbooks so it only shows the deposit requested at first. We keep getting paid in full because clients don't read and then they want a refund that costs us money.

I'm more likely to type it wrong than when I copy and paste it from my bank. you don't need to hold my hand, I'm not your baby

There are 13 separate requests for this on the 1st page of "similar requests" which comes up when I go to enter a request for this. I didn't count the votes. seems pretty trivial to take care of but yet it is still outstanding after several years. I guess its not worth posting things like this as they just get ignored.

This was pretty frustrating for me today. I copy my ACH number from the bank website for accuracy, then I had to enter it manually in the second field? Come on.

agreed and as a control manager - this is a VERY bad control design. it takes the systemic copy function and adds a manual process which introduces risk! I am copying and pasting directly from my secure password system. However, rather than allowing me to 'paste' what I know to be an accurate # - I now have to stare and compare and manually type the #s. Today it wouldnt let me paste in either the 1st or 2nd account # field....horrible control. So, If I stared and compared wrong - then both manually entered #s are now wrong. Control / compliance folks - re-think this one.
