It's a great way to ensure that no one is using my credit card except me! I've been hacked before and the person used my credit card on an online gaming site 15 times before the credit card limit was reached. Imagine my fright (slight hysteria!) to wake up in the morning and see 15 credit card transactions completed when I was sleeping! With this 2 step security code; this would not have happened!

I agree with this statement, I’m making a payment not receiving one, why do I need to put in a code every payment?

Omit entry of 3 digit security code each time you make a payment. Have to get the card out again. Payment is being sent to you, a supposed secure location and not to an outpost in the Swiss Alps
