I would definitely also love a Progress Payment feature. The lack of this option is one thing about QB that i really don't like. We have a payment plan set up for our customers, where they make a deposit, and 2 progress payments before the entire balance is due. However, the invoice the customer received each time always has the TOTAL amount showing as a balance due. Makes it very confusing for the customer and doesn't help the professionalism of our business.

This feature is critical for my business, and without it, using QB is pointless. I need to be able to send my clients an invoice showing the total amount of their project with a 50% deposit due. The remainder of the total is due at project completion.
Please add this ASAP, or I will have to find another accounting and billing solution.

using progress payments is essential in my business. Please add this field or ability or I will be forced to discontinue service and find a program that does. I have been a customer for almost 2 years.

Add the desktop version of progress payments to the on line version!! I should be able to create an estimate, then bill against that. The online version does not let you do less than 100% of the entire estimate, or a percentage of the line items like the desktop version does.

Please allow us to issue invoice showing total amount and additional row showing the partial invoice percentage, its partial amount and with GST for the partial amount.

The ability to turn a large quote into progressive payment.
We do a lot of commercial work with installing new systems we require a down payment prior to ordering equipment and additional payments as phases of the job are complete.
Would work the same way for new construction with rough in trim out and finished job. -

Looking for this feature as well. I request deposits on each project after an estimate is approved by the client. Creating progressive invoicing from an estimate is absolutely a necessary feature for my business, and for many others I am sure. Please QB, add this to QB on line, otherwise, there is no need for me to stick with Quickbooks. It would be a shame, as I really like the easy to use interface.
