Allow to edit payment amount on the front end of invoice. I shouldn't have to search for the edit button to change the payment amount.
Create an opportunity to change how much you are paying on the invoice on the front page.

In my opinion, there is no improvement necessary.
Excellent, user-friendly site for paying my invoice. My total time to complete my transaction and hit “Send Payment” was less than 2 minutes. 😀

use an easy to search keyword in the e-mail notice
include and obvious keyword in the billing e-mail. It is too easy for the invoice to get lost in a flood of spam if it is not attended to immediately.
I searched for invoice, bill, the vendors name - searched for E&E, but the vendors name in the e-mail was "E & E", and quicken, instead of quickbooks. Something perhaps with a hashtag or other special character, so that I can quickly learn it in a distracted world.1 vote -

Allow for combination of receipt and invoice to be downloaded as one PDF upon payment instead of (or at least as well as) separately.

Provide a Memo Field to add additional notes for the payer.
As the person paying an invoice I should be able to add any additional notes or comments.

Offer a PayPal or Venmo link :)
Often times I don’t have my routing and checking account information readily available. It would be great to have a PayPal or Venmo option.

Itemized statement
I would prefer a statement that would list all payments made on this account.
First payment beginning December 2020 with $50 holding fee.

allow us to "opt out" of the "optional" items before we send payment.
Allow customer to select or deselect items, especially when there are "optional" items, before we do the payment process. I changed the total payment; however, it now says that I have an outstanding balance.

I can’t update my payment method on my auto payment setup, it keeps declining and I can’t fix it.

Allow us to "nick name" our multiple saved payment methods, not just display last four of the bank account or credit card
In the process of paying an invoice, we have saved previous payment methods like bank accounts and credit cards. Allow us to nickname these accounts - today only the last four digits of the account are displayed and that can be hard to remember, especially with credit cards for me.

the software posted paid even though I entered an incorrect routing number and wouldn't allow me to correct and my merchant was charged $10f
Most online bill pay shows you the financial institution after you enter the routing number so you can know if you entered the correct number.

Fix the Save payment method
Just fix the Save Payment Method problem. Then include in instructions how to SAVE IT! Very frustrating to re-enter bank info every time. Where’s the box to click to Save the method?

Your invoice should include the period covered by the invoice. I received two invoices for September invoice # 3103 should have had a due date of 9/30 but had 9/16. This can cause confusion to your customers since I received a “reminder” that my bill had not been paid.
