Mandatory Import of Actual Sales, and Expense Transactions from Participating APP Vendors
The current Journal Entry Accounting is a disaster!!!! I have been using Intuit products for 30 years. Previously it was a breeze to reconcile payment processor transactions utilizing Z Tape Register Sales Receipts for reconciliation. QuickBooks has always relied on documents that were easily understood. Ecommerce providers can easily import the sales documents (Sales Receipt or Invoice) with complete information, including sales tax, and customer name, ship to and ship from information, along with inventory quantity and sales prices to their clients. Payroll processors can easily enter expense documents for each employee showing wages, taxes and benefits, as well as, an expense document to reflect taxes paid by both the employer and employee. I see it as their duty to provide their clients with forms appropriate to the transaction they are processing for their clients, therefore providing accurate and transparent financial information. This applies to all accounting software providers. Journal Entries should be reserved for a CPA or Tax Expert. PLEASE!
