Allow a payment date to be entered
Allow customer to pick a date the invoice is to be paid. I prefer to set up payments as soon as the invoice is received but paying almost 30 days in advance of due date is not an efficient use of our funds.

Send a reminder text or call instead of just an email.
Send anything other than an email. Email is outdated and not a good form of contact. Text or call prior to the due date as a reminder.

allow for a diifferent amount to be paid. the amount i owe is more than payment amount

Make a mobile app to access invoice and make payments.
A mobile app would be much more efficient for making payments and viewing invoice. I pay most of my bills on mobile apps that the company has provided and it makes it so much quicker and easier.
