Allow for companies to turn off quickbooks payments for invoices
The new template layout forces you to have a "Pay Invoice" option that automatically prints on invoices and automatically sends when you email an invoice. We don't offer (and do not want to offer) quickbook payments. There needs to be a way to shut this off. As a small company, we do not want to offer credit card payments due to fees associated with them and our customers are fine with paying checks. Also in NY we are no longer allowed to charge a credit card processing fee without offering two payment options on the invoice (which does not work). This is beyond frustrating for businesses who do not want to use quickbook payments or accept credit cards. The response of the online support was that when customers received this, the link they click on will tell them it is inactive which will be frustrating to the customers and also lead to phone calls for the office that "the link doesn't work". The online support then went into a hardcore sales mode on why we should accept payments through quickbooks. Quickbooks is becoming less and less customizable for businesses and in forcing some of these updates without an alternative for people who are not interested in the additional service (and cost of service) you are forcing people to look elsewhere for accounting service softwares.
