PROBLEM: We have multiple instances of payments that have been disconnected from invoices months after they were logged. Please help.

This embarrassingly happens to me when the card expiration date is before the end of the contract period. Find a way to flag these accounts and notify the card holder 30 days prior to the expiration date and request new card information. I personally have made this mistake and honestly wait for the business to contact me to update. Problem solved.
