Progress invoicing in canada
We work in the renovation industry so we get deposits, mid way payments and final payment. Because of this we would like progress invoice to be able to invoice sections of the job that have been completed. Thinking about switching soft ware programs to something that allows this so our profit loss sheets are more accurate.

It would be best for quickbooks to make progress invoicing to also have an option to choose the quantity amount not just reaming line amount, percentage, and dollar amount. would be similar to the purchase order and billing system.
For example estimate product qty 10 and customer want to take 3 so invoice just the 3 items which still leaves the 7 items open in estimates to invoice.
another example is 1 item of materials is priced an amount and need to invoice a 60% deposit of only that one item of materials from the estimate and not the other items like installation then you could progress invoice the item at 0.6 in the quantity field that works out to be 60% of the value. This would make qbo better.
