same issue 4 different laptops, iphone, ipad, amex mastercard and two visas - error.
the vendor sent himself an invoice and it worked.
cleared caches, data etc firefox, safari, edge and chrome -
as a business myself i would never use this antiquated system. horrendous.

I have several clients telling me they can't pay me online. They've been trying for weeks. What do I tell them? Has there been any response from Intuit?

Same problem. I've been trying to pay an invoice for a week and it just keeps saying to come back later. Have paid the same company many times before with no problems.

I just had this happen to me tonight. I re-entered the number 6 times, no luck. Tried later, wouldn't work. Then I realized I was trying to pay via the reminder email. I went to the original (1st) invoice sent and it worked! Hopefully this helps others. I have no idea if that was the fix but it worked for me.
Also, make sure the postal code has a space between *** ***. -

This error just happened to us. The client tried from their laptop and their phone and received the same error. I tried from my computer with their credit card info, and same thing. I also tried my phone. But then I sent myself an invoice and it worked just fine, and another customer just paid their invoice. This error message is unacceptable. QuickBooks needs to do better with the error message telling you what is wrong.

Why has this not be fixed or at minimum have a clear understanding of what is wrong?
This is happening to my client who is trying to pay a past due bill.
I finally got him to pay AND THE SYSTEM IS STOPPING HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please respond and tell me what is being done.
