I bought a new computer and need to move QuickBooks Desktop from my old system to the new one. I have company files, customer information, vendor records, reports, templates, and some saved forms that I do not want to lose.

I heard about the QuickBooks Migration Tool, but I am confused about what it transfers and whether it will move everything automatically. Can it transfer QuickBooks, company files, settings, and documents? Also, what should I do before starting so that I do not damage the company file or lose access to QuickBooks?

Any step-by-step guidance would be appreciated.
