More Than Freight movers arrived 1 hour after they announced updated arrival time plus 2 delays. They made excuses which don't add up bc they already gave me 3 arrival times, & I was the first delivery of the day. Very many issues with the non-professional movers and office workers. Then, Elvis called me 4x while I was waiting for movers to come back with furniture. Elvis then surprised me by saying he wants me to right then while he''s recording the call to say my credit card over the phone. That's very risky to say my card over the phone; extra risky against my security, and then to demand I read to Elvis over a recorded call my details while movers are walking in with furniture any moment. Claudia said she was going back to truck while Elvis was calling me. Then she came and knocked but I couldn't get door bc I was on recorded line w Elvis. Movers did not even know to rotate my easy chair sideways to better fit in hallway. I needed to instruct them, but they did not listen. Bilingual. I moved most of items out of way in the room. At the end, they made effort to move 1 so furniture could fit. I thanked them many times and gave a tip. I think that many others would not have given tip considering all the issues, 90% which are bad management. Through my request & patient persistence I was able to get Elvis to send me the online payment system, which turned out to be Intuit Quickbooks, which is made for online use. But he really interrupted things by asking me to say my card and all credentials over the phone while my furniture was about to come. He had a hard time acknowledging even my email address, but got it correct. Sorry for being blunt, but an honest review was requested. I don't know if I will be permitted to hire my own movers when/if I buy from Portland Estate Marketplace again.
