I had planned to pay from a Vanguard Cash Plus account (ACH Routing #242071583) but the transaction failed. Vanguard could not explain why, but suggested that QuickBooks did not accept the ACH Routing as valid. This Vanguard account is very effective for managing large cash deposits (high APR and FDIC insurance) and the ability to transfer cash easily would be most welcome. To get around this problem, I had to make a transfer to another bank that you recognize, delaying my payment by another day.
