Change your attitude toward payment harassment. On May 1, 2025, I was admitted to the VA Emergency Room for High blood pressure. I told the office staff at One of a Kind that they would receive payment tomorrow, Friday, May 2, 2025. I wanted to review the detailed invoice. This was something I requested many times. Also, this is PAYMENT IN FULL $5900.00. I feel that I am grossly overcharged. When the plumber first came in to fix the leaky Pipe. He told me that he would not open the ceiling. I needed another company to do that. I said I would investigate the finding of a third party to do the work. One of a Kind did not open the ceiling for eight days. They requested that USAA insurance permit them to do the work. One of a Kind said this is a standard request. I then requested the adjuster to send an email directly to One of a Kind and tell them to do the work. I also told One of a Kind that I will be paying the full bill. The Adjuster stated (in an email) that he did not understand the delay in opening the ceiling. The pipe was fixed the next day.
