This merchant charged me a 3% fee for using a CC to pay WITHOUT disclosing it before starting the work. They were late providing the invoice to me which held up my being reimbursed by my insurance provider. Additionally, since they charged more than my insurance adjuster allowed, it held up payment. They threatened late fees and interest charges if I didn't pay today leaving me no choice but to use a CC. While the line item for the 3% "cc processing fee" is listed on the actual invoice, it doesn't appear anywhere in their email attachment or in the body of their message. Most deceptive things I've seen and I am a heavy user of QBO myself so I know what QBO is capable of. Oh, lastly, it's illegal to charge cc fees when someone uses a debit card, but this merchant doesn't remove the fee when debit card is selected.
