We send invoices by downloading the file and emailing them directly to customers due to different departments. If we could either have multiple emails attached to customers labeled as purchasing and invoicing that automatically changes when making an estimate into an invoice. or if we can manually change the status of the invoice to sent to keep track of invoicing outside of the system would make our lives easier.

Message Preview Pane Malfunctioning
Ever since the release of the "new view", whenever you go to send an invoice the Preview Pane will not update when editing the message body. The template message stays in the preview pane regardless of what you type in the message body pane.

Bring back removed invoicing features
The new invoice template update removed the critical feature of being able to add billable expenses to a bundle on an invoice. We have always been able to do this with Quickbooks online (you could drag and drop individual expenses into whatever bundle they are supposed to be in) and the feature was inexplicably removed. Tech support says they can not help and can not tell us if the feature will be returned. We cannot invoice our clients properly without this feature. new invoice view
New Invoice View is not helpful. It changed our standard invoice template and you can't see the full addresses anymore because the boxes are too small and cannot be expanded. Also, when you print/download it used to drop automatically to the previous file/folder that the last invoice was printed/saved to and it gave a default file title of "Invoice #XXXX" and now it doesn't do that. It opens a new tab and assigns a random number and you have to download it again. Please fix this or allow us to go back to the old view.

Adding Drag/Drop to Bundles in New Invoice Template
With the old invoice template, it was LOVELY to be able to drag/drop other items (ie: billable expenses/billable time) to bundles in QBO (see my article here: https://www.stacyk.net/add-billable-time-or-billable-expenses/).
The new template does not allow for this, and aside from the generally cumbersome layout of the invoice, removing this feature means that functionality has DECREASED with this "improvement".
PLEASE allow drag/drop again!

Add ability to add columns to invoice and options to toggle on/off visibility when printing/PDF
I have read numerous complaints about the lack of options for hiding selected invoice columns when printing or saving as PDF. There are many situations where certain columns are valuable to be visible while creating an invoice however should not be visible to the customer when printed or saved as a PDF.

Estimate and invoice custom templates should be identical in the QuickBooks Online Account so that when an estimate is confirmed. This is to save time and error in recreating the invoice which is same as the estimate.
