Almost every QuickBooks user encounters errors when entering transactions, reconciling accounts, or performing routine tasks — from vague messages like “You have one or more errors. Fix the fields below to continue” with no visible highlight of the actual problem, to technical or generic error messages that don’t explain the root cause.

Currently, the guidance for many errors is limited to generic instructions (e.g., try incognito browser, clear cache, or contact support), which often adds frustration rather than solving the issue.
Users also can’t turn off some automated suggestions that aren’t helpful and create additional confusion.

Therefore, I’d like to propose a significant improvement to QuickBooks Online (QBO): a smarter, context-aware error correction suggestion system that goes beyond basic error messages and helps users understand, resolve, and prevent mistakes more efficiently.
