Add columns for cost and markup margins on estimates!!!
Businesses need to see their projected cost and markup margins on estimates like you guys so conveniently include in the desktop version. Right now people are having to add up their costs manually or using third party software to do this feature when all the info is already input on the online version when you create an item or service...this is so frustrating. I just converted from the desktop version a while ago and was told you guys would add this feature and I see people complaining about it and cancelling their service because of it and you guys still haven't added it...Why does ask you to input the cost of each item and service but not total it for you when you build an estimate like it does on the desktop version....very inefficient. Cancelling my service....
I agree. Here is my comment from another source. Will be switching my service if not handled asap and will make sure everyone I know switches with me. FIX IT.
I am really frustrated with QuickBooks. I loved desktop version, but there was no good way to sync for guys in the field so we switch to online and it literally has options that are good enough for a kids lemonade stand. This is insane. My shopify account even has a cogs section. Excel can put in mark up columns. My 6 year old son can figure that out. PUT MARK UP % ON ESTIMATES SO WE CAN ACCURATELY INVOICE OUR CUSTOMERS OFF OF % AND PROFIT. I talk to a ton of people who need this feature. If you don't make this happen, I will just have to hire a developer and be a competitor of yours because its what the people want. Its a one column add on, it's not that hard. I have been reading threads on this exact topic for years, fix your problem or someone else will come to your market and solve it. Asking nicely. PLEASE!!!!!! Goodness, listen to your customers.
