    This feature is critical for my business, and without it, using QB is pointless. I need to be able to send my clients an invoice showing the total amount of their project with a 50% deposit due. The remainder of the total is due at project completion.

    Please add this ASAP, or I will have to find another accounting and billing solution.

    I totally agree! As a web developer, I bill my clients half up front for a project and the remainder when the project is complete. How is this not an option? Without this functionality there is no point in using QB for my business.
