I’m planning to fly with Spirit Airlines next month and wanted to get some advice on their seat selection process. I’ve heard mixed things—some people say it's best to pay for a seat during booking, while others say to wait until check-in for a free random seat.

Does anyone have experience with Spirit Airlines seat selection? Is it worth paying extra to choose a seat, especially for a window or aisle? I'm also wondering how strict they are about keeping groups or families together if you don’t pay.

Also, do their Big Front Seats really make a difference in comfort?
