I’m coming across Error initializing QBPOS application. Is there any way to get over?
Well, you are supposed to create a new Window Admin account if you want to mend error initializing QBPOS application log. For this, perform the steps inclined below:
Generate a local user account
Firstly, navigate to the Windows Start menu and select the Settings option.
After that, hit the Accounts tab, and then you must navigate to Family and other users.
Under other users, click on the “Add someone else to this Personal Computer” option.
Once done, click on the option “I don’t have this person’s sign-in information.”
Also, you need to select “Add a user without a Microsoft” on the next page of the screen.
Change the Local User Account to Admin
Head to the Windows Start menu and choose the Settings option
Now, select Accounts >>> Family & other users (Other users).
Click on the Username you just created earlier and then hit the “Change account type” tab.
Then, hover over the Account type and select the Administrator, then Press the OK button.
The last step is to log in as an Admin and open the QuickBooks point of sale.
