Ability to add new customer to an existing project.
I need the ability to change a customer on an existing project. Customers can change on a project midway through. I need the existing data from the project, with the customer information for that portion. But when the customer sells, I need to be able to assign the new customer to that existing project without losing all my previous information. The only workaround I was given by customer service was to delete the project and start a new one. This would lose ALL kinds of payroll and invoice information. Project Status Field Update and/or Customization
Currently, the status of a project is limited to "Not Started", "In Progress", "Completed", and "Canceled". Preferably, this would be able to be customized so that the statuses are relevant to the users. If not, at the very least, it would be helpful to have a status that is "On Hold" or "Waiting". For example, these projects would be ones where progress invoicing has started, but won't continue until a later date. Using this status, I could filter and exclude those projects from day to day. View ALL transactions in a project including checks
Previously when opening a project, by default we would see a list of all transactions within the last year for that one project.
However, it seems now under Transactions, the most you can filter is All Sales, which excludes checks from being shown.
In order to show the checks, we now must filter using the "Check" option, which will only show us just the checks. There is now no way to actually see ALL the transactions for one project on one single page.

Please separate Projects from Customer Data model
The fact that projects are treated like Customers is hindering reporting in the worst way.
I have customers who have sub customers. If I want to roll up to the parent customer, I cannot do this in many reports. Filtering by customer forces me to click every project as if they are a customer.4 votes -

Project # to auto populate in ascending order as new projects are created
There needs to be a way that a project # is auto assigned to a project when it is created just like it does for an estimate or Invoice. The numbers would ascend as new projects are created.
