Invoice Date Displays Wrong In Web Interface
The invoice and sales screen currently display the date wrong. All the other modules work fine except the Invoice and Estimates screens where the date is displayed like 23-1-1 instead of 2023-01-01. This broke during the redesign.

Show QUANTITY TOTALS on Invoices, and as subtotals.
The ability to show quantity totals just as you do subtotals and totals of cost. This is very important for me in particular to show total hours worked.

Add a feature allowing for Dynamic Messages on Recurring Invoices
When sending recurring invoices for "month ahead" services, it would make this recurring process even more worthwhile and effective if the invoice message could be made to update with a date appropriate message that changes each month to give the month the services are being billed for:
If it's issued on Feb 1 for services in March 2024, it would say "March 2024" in Feb, and then April 2024 on the March invoice and so on.4 votes -

Hello:
Have a quick report showing all "To be printed" invoices and invoices that did not successfully send from QuickBooks Online.
This was easy to lookup on Desktop and was a excellent way to see what invoices needed attention.
Currently, finding "To Be Printed" invoices is not quick nor is there a queue that would be easy to see what needed printing. Line in Desktop.
Currently there is no EASY way of knowing if an invoice was successfuly sent. There is no queue or warning.

Allow non company admins to customize invoices
Presently only company admins can customize existing invoices.

Service Categories on New Invoice Layout
The new invoice layout doesn't show the service item category. Our entire billing system is setup to break the services down by category and have different billable rates depending on the category. Without being able to see that, the new layout is useless.

Share Invoice Links
I was told that it is no longer possible to share invoice links. If true, that's one of the dumbest things I've ever seen.
We frequently use that feature to send reminders within other emails to clients. Plus, invoice reminders sometimes go to spam or email categories and sending a link helps the customer find it. Removing this feature was idiotic.

New invoice format isn't working!!! Customization not working at all.
I can't add items to bundles via drag and drop like I used to. The customer messages at the bottom are saved in my custom form settings but don't show up in the actual invoices. The payment terms section is also blank even though I have saved them in the settings as well.
This new modern format is a disaster and no amount of trying to fix it on my end is working. This has added 5x the amount of time and effort I have to put into ALL invoices that I need to send. UNACCEPTABLE QUICKBOOKS!7 votes -
Fix the invoices input in app
On the mobile app, Samsung note, the quickbooks online app had an update. Prior to the update, invoices were able to have numbers and letters which was very helpful. I submit invoices to a home builder that likes to have the invoices as the home addresses. Under the new update, only numbers are able to be inserted. Please fix this. On the desktop site it's still operational, but I need to do invoices on the go.

ADVANCED SEARCH
Before the recent update Advanced Search had options to search memo/description by limiting to "Equals" or "Includes", this feature helped to narrow down a list of invoices that had the same EXACT memo, rather than similar ones. Please add this "Equals" option back

RETURN THE EMAIL SENT AND VIEWED INFO AT THE BOTTOM OF EACH INVOICE!!!
When I am reviewing the AR report it is ESSENTIAL that I see when the invoice was sent and viewed!!! Once in a while the techs will forget to send them and it is IMPERATIVE that I know if the customer has received the invoice and viewed it... sometimes the CUSTOMER may forget to make the payment and the email messages I send reflect all of that!!! Share Invoice Link - available for QuickBase Pipelines or sync table
The "Save and Share Invoice Link" needs to be available as a data object passable to QuickBase either via pipeline or sync table. Currently the only way to pass the link from QBO to QBase is by having users log into Books, manually copy the link, paste the link into Base, and resave the record. This is cumbersome and error-prone.
Alternatively, I know that using minor version 36 one can use an API call to get the share link, but it's not currently possible in Qbase Pipelines to navigate QBO's OAUTH flow. You cannot have a pipeline request a token,…

Enable the ability to import Invoice Templates
Enable the ability to import Invoice Templates. Just switched from QuickBooks Desktop and the template edit options are junk. Can't even edit the column width.
