Make a way for employees to sign up without invites.
The old way to view your pay stubs was great. Employees could create an account externally with logins and password, then use these credentials to log in and view pay stubs. The new way is terrible. As a company with 50+ employees, the owner does not process payroll. However, the owner is the Admin for our Quickbooks file. The only account that can send invites is the Admin account. It is not feasible for me to ask my boss each time we hire a new employee to send the an invite to view their pay stub. He has hired someone to handle payroll because he has things to handle on a daily basis that are much more important. What sense does it make to allow a user to create new employees and process payroll, but this user cannot invite the employees to view their pay stub? The transition to workforce has been a disaster for me, my boss, and the 4 companies that I work for. On top of that, I have made 3 phone calls the last 2 weeks trying to get this issue resolved, each time receiving little to no help. On the first call, a lady sent me a link and said it was the new way to sign up. After trying with 2 different employees, I realized something was wrong. I called back and a gentleman told me "the link works for some people and doesn't for others." That is not an acceptable answer in any place of business. I was finally able to speak with a supervisor this morning and she informed me that the link the lady sent me the first time did not actually work. So, for 2 weeks I tried to use a bogus link that got me no where. The lady I spoke with this morning advise me to post feedback in this forum. I look forward to a timely response so we can get this issue fixed.

This is such a nightmare for me! We have a high turnover rate so we go through a handful of new employees each month. I'm HR/Payroll so I don't have access rights to the admin login (and I shouldn't). Each time we hire a new employee I have to harass an owner to login and let me invite people. If I process payroll, can print paystubs, print paychecks, you would assume I should have the right to send an invite out to an employee.

It has been 2 weeks, and I have not received the first contact about this issue. I told the lady I spoke with in customer service that posting in this forum is pointless. Thank you for proving my point. Multiple users have had this issue, yet none of have resolutions to our problem. We had the ability for years to use a website to access pay stubs without an invite, so why change it now? It is very frustrating being told to post in this stupid forum, just to have my questions unanswered and my post ignored. So which is worse, the call center giving you a false website that "works for some, but not others", or telling you to post in a forum where you concerns will go completely unrecognized and unanswered? Typical customer service on Quickbooks behalf.
I am in the same situation. I 100% agree!
