Add columns for cost and markup margins on estimates!!!
Businesses need to see their projected cost and markup margins on estimates like you guys so conveniently include in the desktop version. Right now people are having to add up their costs manually or using third party software to do this feature when all the info is already input on the online version when you create an item or service...this is so frustrating. I just converted from the desktop version a while ago and was told you guys would add this feature and I see people complaining about it and cancelling their service because of it and you guys still haven't added it...Why does ask you to input the cost of each item and service but not total it for you when you build an estimate like it does on the desktop version....very inefficient. Cancelling my service....

The lack of this feature makes it clear to me that Intuit doesn't use their product or understand how it has been used for 25 years. Had I known I could not add the cost & mark up fields to the estimate I probably would have stayed with the desktop version - as bad as it is.

I am 100% with you on the markup column on estimates. How am I going to know immediately how to best estimate a job?
thinking about going back to desktop

Why doesn't QuickBooks online replicate the desktop version that allows a drop down in invoice pricing for additional markup that is already calculated out at 10%,20%, 30%, 40%? That feature is a huge time saver. Some of our parts get marked up 40% while others get marked up differently, due to cost. Can that feature be added into the online invoicing?
