Be truthful in stating speed of payments
QuickBooks Payments routinely makes this statement to merchants, and the same message is thus conveyed to payers: "Funds will be deposited in your account in 2 - 5 business days." I have been using the QuickBooks invoice payment feature for more than a year and have received a statistically significant number of payments this way. It's nice to not have the hassle of mail and paper, I'll give you that. But it's just plain rubbish that QuickBooks ever turns things around in 2 business days. I have experienced that end of the range ZERO times. Same deal for 3 or 4 business days. In fact, I don't recall ever getting paid in less than 5 business days, and it is often 6 or 7 business days. (2/4/19 to 2/12/19 is 6 or 7 business days, depending one where you count day #1. Stretches such as this are typical.) The delay, especially the 6 or 7 business days, certainly bothers me, because everyone knows EFT doesn't take this long. But what really gets me is the blatant dishonesty! I can't be the only one experiencing payment timelines at the long end of the range, and often longer. Given this reality, please stop giving us the fake news that funds "will be deposited in your account in 2 - 5 business days." Thank you for the service, but setting expectations is important, so please just be honest.
