Item income mapping changes should populate historical data to P&L
Please allow changes to QBOnline ITEM INCOME CATEGORIES to apply to previous invoices and sales receipts (at minimum the option going back to a previous closing date or fiscal year beginning). What happens if we need to adjust an item's income account tracking later in the year? Currently the only way to populate this information is to go back and refresh/re-enter every item applicable on every invoice where it resided - and nobody has time for that.
The whole point of being able to create Chart of Account income categories or sub-categories is to be able to view those refinements on the P&L report! If the changes at the item level do not populate, the value of my Profit & Loss report is severely diminished.
Please make fixing this a QBO priority!!!
