Customizable Homepage Dashboard Screen
It would be nice to have a customizable dashboard homepage where actual users get to pick what they need to see and which navigation buttons they use the most to the homepage screen. At this point, it's Intuit hard-wired homepage dashboard even on privacy mode. Many business owners saying when they're sitting next to their customers and creating transactions, they're not interested in sharing profit or loss, expenses, bank accounts, income, and sales chart.
What they like to see the most on the homepage screen:
1) To do list
2) One click favorite reports
3) One click invoicing
4) One click write check
5) Tasks reminder (this used to be on old homepage, gone now)
6) Recent activities (this used to be on old homepage, gone now)
7) Create your own design enhancement features.
8) Completely wipe out current graphs and bank accounts.
9) Block marketing tips
10) Sign out from the home page
Let's make QBO dashboard customizable and actually useful. Thanks!
The way my office is set up, I can't change, customers can look at all my info when I'm making an invoice for them. Please change!!!!! I would like the option of numerous widgets that I can choose to put on the dashboard....or none at all if I didn't want to.

Yes, we need to be able to customize the dashboard. I am setting up a new user to just pay bills for me. So, there are several areas on the dashboard where it just says she has no access to that information. I'm glad to be able to restrict access, but I'd much rather have meaningful stuff on her dashboard than a constant reminder to her that there's all kinds of information in there that she doesn't have access to. I thought the definition of a dashboard is to have all the stuff most important to each user for easy access. Thanks for listening.
I would love to see a "To Do LIst" available that I control on my Dashboard. You have it on the desktop version and I use it religiously.

Bring back todo list and tasks reminders!

11) snapshot of upcoming bills (maybe that would be included in "to-do list"
I hate the set up of the dashboard. I'm used to the easy access of the dashboard from Quickbooks Desktop, they need to modify and allow changes to be made to the QBO dashboard, strongly considering cancelling our subscription to QBO.
I would like to see Bills Due as an option, Reminders are great idea as well. Just let us customize what we want to see to be able to run our business. It is extremely unfortunate that Intuit will not allow user to customize their own Homepage / Dashboard.
Would like to have a reminder that allows me to enter insurance information for my vendors/subcontractors. This would be something that alerts me or reminds me that my vendors/subcontractor's insurance is expiring.
Would like to have a place to create reminders/notes/things to do for myself - not a recurring transaction reminder and not a client project. And then, as everyone else is suggesting, having it show on the Dashboard.

Would like to see Reminder List have a pane on the Dashboard.
Would like to be able to use the Return/Enter key in Safari on a Mac to enter and accept transactions.
I also miss being able to cascade open windows.

I would love to be able to add custom tasks and notes.

I would love to be able to add tasks, notes, and reminders. It would be a good way to keep updated when you have multi users.

I vote for this!

Reminders would be an amazing addition to Quickbooks. Important tax deadlines or other compliance-type tasks could stay in the system of record, rather than in one person's calendar.

Please also add the ability for the widgets to show only Operating Income Metrics, or at least the ability to choose.
I really want to be able to customize the dashboard. It shows sales as 0 because we categorize everything under Service Income

I just switched to QB online. I like a lot of features over QB desktop. I would like to see a reminder system added. I guess I will still have to use QB desktop for that feature for now

The dashboard needs to be customizable per user.
The accountant needs one view.
The CEO needs another view
The bookkeeper needs another view.
This isn't that hard - just make a mini report format which generates a short list or number or gauge or trendline
In addition, the time frame used across multiple of the widgets should be shared so you can quickly change from This month to last month and all the connected widgets on the dashboard would update.
As a matter of fact, what you need is that ability to create multiple dashboards and then select the dashboard you want to view from the home page. Then a single user can quickly jump through the dashboards they need to run their business
I agree. Customizing the Dashboard, as well as the order the accounts show in the dashboard, is important functionality. Some accounts are accessed much more often than others, and to have to scroll to see the accounts we need because other less often used accounts are showing first, is really frustrating.
