Currently, creating batch statements for overdue invoices does a good job, but you have to remember to do it and I have customers who get confused by statements.
This is a solution for people who don't like, or are bad about keeping up with reminders for overdue invoices - and, it's a scenario for emailed invoices only.
Rather than statements, I would love a feature that you could enable or disable which does automated follow up on invoices, using a reminder email (based on a template preferably) and attaching the invoice.
Basically, I would want QBOE to start automatically reminding/nagging the customer of their invoice(s) when due, and then every 7 or 14 days thereafter. Being able to control the interval and frequency of automatic reminders would be awesome.
I don't like doing the accounting anyway, so this would just make it less painful if I didn't have to spend my own time chasing down late payers.

I agree totally! I'm not new to QBO anymore. Why would you force this on users indefinitely? It was helpful on the first day I started with QBO, but now I just want it gone.

Yes - Projects! I have had almost no real scenario where sub-customers make sense. I also am stuck using sub-customers for projects, which is kind of a lame work around.
Just support project related work in the same way Freshbooks does. That would be awesome.

I agree with the whole idea suggested here about tracking/automating follow ups with clients on invoices.
More than anything else though, I would LOVE it if there was a global setting in the system for automated follow up interval, so I could tell the system to automatically remind customers of unpaid invoices X number of days before it's due, and X days after it has become overdue and then every X days thereafter.
I tend to be bad about following up on overdue invoices and a reminder (nag) feature that did this for me would be great.
