Reservar Stock.
I need to know if there is any type of document that lowers my stock before issuing the invoice. If a client asks me for a budget for 10 screws, they are not subtracted from my stock. This is fine, because they are not sold yet. But the problem is that those 10 screws are not reserved nor are they subtracted from the total stock.
Example: My company has 10 screws in stock.
Day 1: Client A asks me for a budget for 10 screws. My stock remains in 10 screws since I did not invoice those 10 screws.
Day 2: Client B asks me for a budget for 5 screws. Nowhere in QB does it inform me that I have the stock reserved for Client A (even if it is not invoiced). Therefore, I send Client B a budget for the 5 screws.
Day 3: Client A confirms the budget (previously requested) for those 10 screws. Once the 10 screws have been invoiced to Client A, the 10 screws disappear from my Stock.
Day 4: Client B wants to confirm the budget, but when I want to make the invoice and send the order, I realize that I no longer have Stock. This happens because I sent the budget to Client B before billing Client A's order.
What I mean by this is that it is necessary to reduce the budgeted products of the Stock, and not only when I invoice them. I hope you can help me with this matter.
Thank you very much, Iviti S.A.
