Worker's Comp Multiple Class
It would be a huge plus if QuickBooks Online Payroll would follow some of the QuickBooks desktop payroll. For instance, in WA state, we have multiple Workers Comp classes, with different rates. Some of our employees work in more than one class (i.e. manufacturing and retail). Unfortunately, QuickBooks Online Payroll does not allow us to assign more than one class per employee. This results in having to find another solution to processing our payroll. Switching to the desktop version would be doable, but not feasible, because one owner has a PC, the other a Mac AND Intuit is discontinuing QuickBooks Mobile.
Please consider adding the functionality to QuickBooks Online Payroll for multiple worker's comp classes at the employee level.
Hoping this issue is fixed soon. Very frustrating to not be able to do payroll correctly in the online version of QuickBooks.
More than three years later and still an issue not addressed or fixed! Not only is this vital so is job costing. Which QBO does not have payroll flowing to the job costs reports. UGH. A lot of vital features lost from desktop to QBO.
I am new to quickbooks payroll and realized I could not enter multiple codes per month. I chatted with a rep online and the solution was to run payroll multiple times and manually change the rate code each time. This seems like a very big waste of time. It would be really great if they could make a change!

YES. Multiple workers comp classes are needed. For example, there are different codes for when a painter is painting exterior versus interior and quite often does both in one pay period!
I too would like this, but not for Worker's Comp. I need it for class tracking in general. We should make this more general to combine it with other topics and votes.
I have exactly the same issue! Not very happy about this problem!
