Hide purchase cost through user access rights control

Issue: All the retailers/trader/importers/distributors in my country can not use QBO simple because it publicizes the gross profit & purchase costs even at the limited user access rights i.e. "Customers & Sales" and "Suppliers" which for most businesses is confidential information.

Workaround: Crying out of security and confidentiality threats, we put a zero as purchase cost. Which basically destroys the P/L statement's COGS & the whole point of inventory tracking in case someone is stuck with QBO altogether.

Solution: Simply consider hiding purchase cost & COGS on top priority through user access rights control as importantly as QBO focuses on hiding profits and expenses. COGS is a direct expense which gives a good idea about any company's profitability so it makes no sense to show it.
