Please consider developing SOFA Accounts based on SORP 2015 for UK based charities. This shouldn't be something hard to achieve as all the information will be pulled from ledgers.5 votes

What is coming in the near future for QBO SOFA report – currently you have to manually create locations as ‘funds’ and then customise the SOFA report to show ‘locations’ under ‘columns’. We will enhance this experience by doing this all for you as a default with you just renaming the location as a particular fund you’re using.

when exporting some reports to excel we get numbers in the amount and balance columns that come over as "number stored as text" this didnt happen up until last friday. it doesnt happen on all reports and no troubleshooting we have done fixes this. I cant apply formulas to the reports that show up like this so it is a real hindrance for me to have them like this.35 votes

It would be nice to be able to search for the customer by any info that is provided. My technicians do not always know customer names as they do not make contact with the clients, so it is much easier for them to just give me an address. It would be nice to be able to start typing in part of an address and have options come up. Otherwise I have to run a full report and then go through 100+ clients to see whose name belongs to whose address.546 votes

Easy access to recurring transactions and reminders is crucial. This is one feature I consistently used in the desktop version of Quickbooks and would love to see it on the online platform.505 votes

To address this feedback, we have added a Tasks list on the QuickBooks Online home page. One of the tasks that can show up in this list is for recurring transaction reminders.
When there are recurring transaction reminders pending, there will be a task in the list that will link to the reminders list page.
it will be really helpful in inventory management to have a REORDER point feature where i get a note or reminder to order more inventory once I reach my reorder point that i set for a specific inventory item.219 votes
why do statements not show up under the member details or transaction list after they are sent?3 votes
When sending a statement to customers you are only able to view the statement activity through the history log. I would like to be able to see when a statement was sent to a customer under the specific customer just like it shows an invoice was created and a payment was received. This would be extremely helpful when speaking to a customer about their account history.0 votes
Easy Access to Statements is critical to my bookkeeping. I have struggled with the NEW process and have repeatedly requested OB add back the ability to access a statement from the drop down box on the customer page. This is how we did it all these years. I was told to do a "statement through the SEARCH." This brings up the specific list of customer statements that i requested. I can view ONE only. The BACK button on the statement, and the back arrow at the top of the page doesn't allow you to go back. You have to go back and search the same customer again and again and again. I tried accessing statements through the REPORT option. Same thing. It shows the customer's statement list. When I open ONE I can't "go back" in any way to look at the others. I have to go through several steps each time. This is very frustrating. An easy fix to just go back to the way it was before. PLEASE HELP. I want to DUMP QB!!!! This has been months now with no one at QB who cares!

In the customer center, please include deposits as one of the transactions that show up under all transactions.
In the customer center, please include deposits as one of the transactions that show up under all transactions. Deposits show up in the customer in quickbooks for desktop.
If you enter a deposit on an invoice it shows up under Money Received.
If a deposit is entered under bank deposit and associated with a customer please also include these transactions under the customer center.13 votes

The UK construction industry have to operate under the CIS tax scheme - It's a bit like VAT but for tax at source for subcontractors. I currently have to have two dummy bank accounts to manage CIS. Would be great if that could be written into QB. It already does VAT so shouldn't need too much coding!71 votes

We’re releasing in stages and are excited to have launched the ability to create CIS transactions, generate CIS reports but can’t current e-file directly to HMRC. If you would like to switch it on, go to your company settings>Advance>Accounting and you can now switch on CIS.
This is how to use it in QuickBooks-
- If you’re a contractor, create your subbies as suppliers in QuickBooks. Enter in their Verification number and CIS rate.
- If you’re a Sub-contractor, create the contractor who pays you as a Customer. You would have been prompted for your own CIS rate under the settings page.

Stage 3 is the ability to file and automatically send out payment & deduction statements which is coming over the next few months
Add Show statements to the client detail view. In old QB I could click Statements in the Show drop down menu. The option is gone in new QB, so unless I've missed something, if I want to know the date a statement was last sent I have to search for the statement for that client outside the client view, see when the last statement was sent, go back to client view, find the client, and then create the new statement. This one little thing missing from the drop down Show menu has added a lot of extra time to processing a payment for me. Alternately, you could give the option to have the statement start date be the day after the last statement was sent, rather than a month ago. Either would solve the problem.

I can no longer print a customer open balance or transaction statement while viewing the customer account page. It used to be a choice under "CREATE NEW.." . To print a statement , I now have to close the customer account page, go to CUSTOMER section, scroll to customer name, CHECK the customer name then choose to print or send a statement. SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO THIS WHILE IN THE CUSTOMERS ACCOUNT PAGE. Why did you take this option away?3 votes
Please add the ability to create a customer statement when viewing the customer record detail. This was possible on the previous version....which I like much better!15 votes
We need to be able to see statements on a customer's account. It says all transactions, yet you can't see them. This is VERY annoying!!! Please switch it back the way it was! Hate this new "update" or as I call it "screw up" and "Screw your customer"!!!!0 votes
When viewing registers, one has the option to hit prev, next or last. Why not first? It would save a lot of time, instead of hitting prev several times.0 votes
I used to be able to view recurring transactions and a history of statements sent under the customer account. I used these frequently, and find it tedious to have to open an entirely new screen or run a report to view them for a specific customer0 votes
