  1. Update Sales Tax Reports with Gross, Taxable, Non-Taxable, Exempt, Code, Tax Paid Total Columns for US customers

    Need a Sales Tax Report that includes Gross Sales for all sales not just the taxable amount. We have to enter this amount on the filing with do with the state. Gross Sales then Taxable Sales.

      have the reports total. Right now you have to export to excel and do a formula, after deleting the extra lines!

      • Provide a report writer that enables us to easily query our data and connect different sets of data, filtering and sorting as needed

        Back in the day.... we had ASK MANMAN. It had a simple report writer that enabled slightly better than ordinary users to create their own reports. All tables of data were available, and users could link any tables on various columns, filtering and sorting by anything. There were also some simple formatting tools so you could paginate, and change headers, etc.
        Currently, we bill once a month to our parents, and we like to give them an envelope to put their payment in. On the front of the envelope, I like to put a simple statement of what they owe.…

        • Make it easier to Customize a report

          It is not very intuitive to customize reports. It seemed easier to do them on our QB desktop version (prior to our QBO conversion).

              I have an issues with the non ability to enter information for my subcontractors/vendors that I have to file a T5018 and T4A. Unable to enter their social security number and there is no report to be able to pull all my information at year end in order to file with Canada Revenure. I would like to see a feature that will allow this. Since I deal with a large number of subcontactors/vendors that I have to file for.                 Simple Start does not contain a General Ledger report. It is not included if I access the client's account through QBOA either.

                • Create a Year End Giving Donor Statement

                  Each year nonprofit organizations have to produce an annual giving statement for each donor. Why can't QBO Nonprofit version have a report that creates this so you can print a detailed statement all sales receipts received for each donor without having to go in an individually print them?

                    Please make Arabic support for printing and when sending PDF (invoices, payment ....)
                    Selecting “Arial MS (Multilingual) from the drop down list,it write Arabic but in reverse direction. From left to right. Arabic should be from right to left

                    • Make subclasses total up into classes the same way subaccounts total into accounts for a collapsed P & L.

                      In doing accounting for a non-profit, we have subclasses under Program Expenses class, so that we can track different programs separately. However, when I try to run a P & L by class for our funders, I am forced to include all of the subclasses instead of just being able to have a class report with Program Exp, Fundraising Exp, and Admin Exp. The subclasses won't collapse into the main class.

                        Please add report Budget Vs. actual by class. It will help Departments' heads to know how they are doing on their budgets.

                        • Please create a budget report similar to the Desktop "Profit & Loss Budget Performance"

                          Please create a budget report similar to the Desktop "Profit & Loss Budget Performance" report that has the ability to have current month and YTD as well as the total budget on one page. Also please make it possible to select Last Month, Last Quarter etc. for the time period instead of just "Custom"

                          • Payroll Summary Report Like Desktop Version

                            Please add a Payroll Summary report that is setup like the Payroll Summary report in the desktop versions - one report that includes all payroll information for each employee, organized & totaled by the employee.

                            • give the option to hide deleted accts when viewing the chart fo accounts. Also, an auto fill option would be helpful. Have to scroll through

                              online version should allow you to hide deleted accts. They clutter up the chart accounts and you need to scroll through too much to find anything. The desk top version lets you hide inactive accounts.

                              The reports should automatically hide zero accounts. Then you can decide if you want to show them. It is just an extra step whenever you run a report

                                    Fix the Budget vs Actual report so that you can
                                    report by CLASS! Someone removed that feature as of 12/31/14!!! We can not get needed reports because we have more than one class and they all appear in this report now!!!

                                          Budget-vs-actual reports - increase date flexibility: we should be able to create a budget-vs-actual that shows actuals as of a certain date, compared against the budget for the whole year. Right now the only way to compare against the budget for the whole year, is to make the report dated at the end of your fiscal year; which works fine for a report dated as of the day its generated ("today").
